Dental services

Removable partial or complete dentures are usually the most economical solution for replacing multiple missing teeth.

Dental implants are metal “roots”, usually made of highly resistant titanium, which are surgically installed in the jawbone under the gum.

Dental emergency

Our emergency dental service provides you with immediate and efficient treatments for all sudden or prolonged tooth pain, chipped or broken teeth, lost fillings or periodontal abscesses.

Restorative dentistry

Restorative Dentistry includes everything that can be called dental restoration. A dental restoration may be necessary if your teeth are damaged.

Dental surgery

When a cavity or fracture cannot be repaired, usually the tooth must be extracted. An extraction may also be necessary if there is severe bone loss around a tooth.

Root canal treatment

Trauma to a tooth can cause an inflammatory reaction of the pulp. The canal of the tooth must be cleaned and treated to stop the inflammation process.

Bleeding gums are a sign of inflammation, which is usually caused by supra-gingival and sub-gingival tartar.

Crowns and bridges

Bridges are usually prescribed when one or more teeth are missing. Crowns may be recommended in many situations.

Dental cleaning

Dental cleaning is an essential complement to oral care performed at home. Indeed, brushing and flossing alone cannot remove all of the tartar on your teeth.

Cosmetic dentistry

The shape and colour of your teeth can be changed thanks to restoration materials (porcelain or composite resin), resulting in a beautiful smile.

Teeth whitening

It is extremely difficult to remove the stains on your teeth without the help of a professional. The solution: Teeth whitening.

Frequently asked questions

Which treatments are covered by dental insurance?

Every insurance plan is different. It is important to verify the coverage clauses with your insurance company. Usually, between 80 and 90% of basic treatments are covered. Complete removable dentures and partial fixed dentures (crowns and bridges) are usually covered at 50%. We would be happy to send an estimate to your insurance company, indicating that the covered amount is payable to the dentist. This way, you only have to pay the difference.

Will whitening damage my teeth?

Current scientific studies indicate that it will not. The most common side effects are sensitivity of the teeth and soft tissues during treatment. This sensitivity is temporary and disappears once the whitening treatment is complete.

When should my child visit the dentist for the first time?

The Canadian Dental Association recommends that children visit a dentist for the first time at one year of age, or 6 months after their first tooth emerges. At our clinic, we suggest a first visit at around 3 years of age. By visiting the dentist before a problem appears, the child can get familiar with the environment in a relaxed and pleasant circumstance. That way, visiting the dentist will have a positive connotation for the child.
