Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP)

We are pleased to announce that we welcome both new and existing patients covered by the Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP).

The Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP) is a program launched by the Government of Canada to make dental care more accessible and affordable for Canadians without private dental insurance.

Remember, despite RCSD assistance, treatment is not free! At your dentist’s, for the same treatment, the same rate applies to everyone, insured or not.

You may qualify for the CDCP if you:

• Do not have private dental insurance
• Have a household income below a certain threshold
• Meet other criteria set by the federal government

If you are currently covered under the CDCP, you will need to renew your coverage each year to confirm that you continue to meet all eligibility requirements

The CDCP includes a wide range of dental services, such as:

• Preventive care: cleanings, exams
• Diagnostic services: X-rays
• Restorative treatments: fillings, root canals
• Oral surgeries: extractions
• Denturology
